It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures. We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!
Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world … No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.
And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky! Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions
Looks like a beautiful beach to walk on Wilma. I'm glad you got rescued and got good human parents. I hope you eventually feel so safe that you don't ever remember having been nervous. Beautiful photo.
In 2003 I was rescued from a nasty man who had decided to try and make some money out of breeding German Shepherds. He wasn't a nice man and kept us in a yard. We had never met any humans in the first 5 months of our lives. Fortunately for us we were resued by the German Shepherd Rescue People who took us back to their big kennels in Newcastle. Mummy and Daddy said Goodbye to Inca, a beautiful German Shepherd who had gone to Doggie Heaven. They came to see me and my sister. My sister had a new home and I went home to a lovely village on the North York Moors. I still have problems, I am very nervous but have made progress so Mummy says.
I go for wals with mummy, the beach is my favourite as I love swimming. My best friend was Max, who sadly died Christmas 2006. Shortly after Elsie, another German Shepherd moved in!
I share my house with Mummy, Daddy, Elsie, Ella the cat and Jo the goose.

I think this is going to be the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.
I really admire your photography skills and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.
