WALKIES!

W is for WALKIES!

Today mummy and I went up Rosecroft Lane.

We went as far as the woods....we'll go there another day!
Can you see me up the lane?

Hope you enjoy our walk!

I have been asleep for most of the afternoon, I was tired.

Something tells me mummy and daddy may be going away!
I have seen them looking at the maps and the bike bags are out!
I will keep you posted.

For more ABC's see mummy's blog!

Hellow AGAIn Wilma!
Its so unfair that your walkies cover such interesting places! Mine invovles sniffing the entire neighbourhood and peemails. That's about it!

Hey Brandy, thanks for stopping by!
Yes, I know I am lucky to have such lovely walks. I wanted a blog so I could share the wonderful views with you. I have to drag mummy out some days believe me, but in the end we both enjoy it. I get tired out and give mummy and daddy some peace and quiet....so it's down to them really!

I've just spent the weekend " baby sitting" a collie/labrador cross who has a mind of his own.

Just say " Walkies " and he's away.

Need a rest now ..

I love your countryside shots. They are so typical of home for me. I'm sure the walks are a highlight of the day for Wilma, and the rest afterwards refreshing and full of good dreams.

Be brave, Wilma. Mum and Dad love you but sometimes they need time to be away by themselves. They'll be back very soon, I promise.

Well Wilma, it looks as if you had quite a scenic walk. But most of all I love the masthead photo of Wilma's World. Very nicely done.

Wilma,
My friend Pippa mentioned to me that you are a new friend of his. You live in a very beautiful location. I hope you don't mind if I stop by once in a while.

P.S. I must tell you that I absolutely love the picture in your header.

Hi Wilma, thanks for dropping by! Ooh you sure had a great walkie there! I've been missing my walkies of late,, no thanks to LS!

Hello Wilma

You do go for some super walks. Mistress tells me that she used to live in North Yorkshire and it is a very beautiful place.

Mistress has read your rescue story. My friend Princey who was a GSD came from a rescue centre in Newcastle but it was full of lots of dogs, not just GSDs.

Badger would like me to say she envies your walks but she has become very tired and stiff so doesn't get far these days. We are both a pair of old dogs.

Hello Wilma, George here! I like your blog. Thank you for visiting my mummy's.

Walkies are the BEST, aren't they? Sometimes I go for walkies on my own and mummy shouts at me; I don't know why.

I haven't got my walk today, so I have better follow your example and get going!

Hi Wilma, what an accomplished dog you are to have your own blog! I'm so happy you have found a good place to live after your early experiences. I don't know how you feel about cats, but my cat has her own blog (Miss Kitty, Norwegian Forest Cat). I'll talk to her about stopping by and leaving you a comment.

Looks a lovely place for a walk :-)

That was a nice walk to take - out in the country. Amy, our golden, would of loved to of joined Wilma for this walk. I also remember watching the "walkies" lady (I forget her name) on Public TV and being facinated & that was years before I owned a dog.

I get an overwhelming feeling of Deja Vu when I visited this page - I don't know why, because I've never been here before - I'm new to blogging and haven't had a whole lot of time to check out very many sites.
Anyway, I really like your page and I'll be back to visit again.

WALKIES!!!!

I Always think of Pierce Brosnan's character calling to his dog: "WALKIES!!", at which time the dog would walk over to Brosnan's character's leg and pee on it. Was this Remington Steele??? Can't possibly remember except it was very very funny!

Hello Wilma....I don't know if you have any use for us cats, but I thought I'd leave a comment and maybe you won't mind hearing from a cat. My person, The Red Headed One, just joined ABC Wednesday and learned of your new blog so I am writing to encourage you....I say all good pets should have a blog, don't you?

I like looking at the places you go walking, but I don't think I would be very safe doing that myself. However, I do enjoy climbing trees, as you can see if you come to visit me.

Keep up the good blogging work.

Regards from Miss Kitty in California.
